David Maraniss to appear on "Conversations from St. Norbert College"

Pulitzer-prize winning author David Maraniss will be the guest on the Oct. "Conversations from St. Norbert College" television show hosted by Kevin Quinn. They will discuss Maraniss's storied career. Maraniss, who grew up in Madison, Wis., won a Pulitzer for his work as a political journalist; he then wrote "First in His Class," a best-selling and highly praised biography of President Clinton.
In 1999, he hit the best-seller list again with "When Pride Still Mattered," a biography of Vince Lombardi and also the source material for the play "Lombardi," which ran on Broadway. In all, Maraniss is the author of five critically acclaimed and best-selling books. An associate editor at The Washington Post, Maraniss was also part of the Post team that won a 2008 Pulitzer for the newspaper's coverage of the Virginia Tech shooting. Maraniss was St. Norbert College's commencement speaker last May.

Maraniss's "Conversations from St. Norbert College" appearance will broadcast every Friday in Oct., beginning Oct. 7 at 6:30 p.m. New shows appear the first Friday of each month. The series airs on TWCT Time Warner Cable Television Channel 4 in Green Bay, Howard/Suamico, and Seymour; Channel 4 in the Fox Cities; Channel 2 in Neenah/Menasha; and on NET cable Channel 46 in Pulaski.
The show also airs on St. Norbert College Channel 5 in De Pere, Ashwaubenon and Bellevue on Sundays at 9:30 a.m., Tuesdays at 6:30 p.m. and Thursdays at 6:30 p.m.

The show can also be seen on Wisconsin on Demand (WIoD), Time Warner Cable's local video on demand channel (411). It is available free to Time Warner Cable's digital customers in 70 communities in northeast Wisconsin.

"Conversations from St. Norbert College" also airs in Algoma, Clintonville, Columbus, Delavan, Elkhorn, Fitchburg and surrounding areas, Hortonville, Jefferson County, Lake Mills, Marshfield, Milwaukee, New London, Oconomowoc, Sevastopol, Sturgeon Bay, Waukesha, Waupaca, Whitewater, Wisconsin Rapids and the Upper Peninsula of Michigan.
