Dedication of the new Michels Commons at St. Norbert College

The dedication of the new $7.7 million Michels Commons will be held on Friday, March 2, at 4 p.m. in the Michels Commons Rotunda. The Michels family, along with St. Norbert College president Thomas Kunkel and members of the board of trustees, will be in attendance. A reception in Ruth's Marketplace will follow the dedication ceremony. The public is invited to continue the celebration at the Big Band Snowball dance and dessert reception held at 7:30 p.m. in the Michels Commons Ballroom. Tickets are available by calling the St. Norbert College Box Office at 920-403-3950.

The Michels family has long been a part of the St. Norbert College community. Three of Ruth and the late Dale Michels' children attended the college, and their granddaughter is a current student.
Michels Commons includes a ballroom, reception spaces and outdoor patios. In addition, Ruth's Marketplace reinvents the college dining hall as a stylish, health-conscious food court with a dramatic two-story atrium overlooking De Pere's Third Street, and Dale's Sports Lounge is a casual dining and gathering space with multiple large-screen televisions and other amenities.
