St. Norbert College adds Berber to translation and interpretation service

De Pere: Linda Beane-Katner, Associate Professor of Modern Foreign Languages and Director of Language Services Division, St. Norbert College Center for International Education, announced that Berber has been added to the languages now translated by the Translation and Interpretation Service. Berber is the language of various people living in northern Africa, west of Tripoli. St. Norbert now provides translation service to the community in 47 languages. The Pre-Collegiate Language Institute offers Spanish language classes to first through sixth graders, both on campus and at several elementary schools. For information regarding these classes or the Translation and Interpretation Service, call Lois Shwery, 920-403-3955. The Language Services Division also offers adult, non-credit foreign language classes in French, German, Italian, Russian, and Spanish.
