St. Norbert College students and faculty win at Fox Valley ADDY Awards

Brian Pirman, associate professor of art at St. Norbert College, and his students Sara Coursin (Pewaukee, Wis.), Leivur Djurhuus (Innan Glyvur, Faroe Islands), Kevin McGillivray (Green Bay, Wis.) and Kelly Dunaway (Forest Park, Ill.) received gold and silver ADDY Awards during a ceremony at Lambeau Field's Legend's Ballroom on Feb. 29.

Coursin was honored with the Best of Show award for her digital illustration "Spoonful of Life," and a gold ADDY for her digital illustration "Hollow Owl."

Djurhus won gold ADDYs for his photographs "Young Sick Bacchus" and "Krossfesting."

McGillivray won silver ADDYs for his digital illustration, "Alphabugs," and his graphic design piece, "Artclub Posters."

Dunaway also won a silver ADDY for her digital illustration, "Unfashionable."

Pirman won an award for his work redesigning the art faculty portraits on the St. Norbert College website.

The American Advertising Federation holds the ADDY Awards every year. It is one of the world's largest advertising competitions. Participants enter their work on the local level and winners have the chance to move on to the national competition.
