The St. Norbert College Peace and Justice Center will host Donna Freitas from Hofstra University on March 26 at 6 p.m. in the Fort Howard Theater in St. Norbert's Bemis International Center. Freitas will lecture on "Sex and the Soul: Juggling Sexuality, Spirituality, Romance and Religion on America's College Campuses." The lecture will be based on her non-fiction book of the same name, and will explore the sexual and spiritual lives of today's college students.

Freitas is associate professor of religion at Hofstra. In addition to her nonfiction book she is also the author of the novel "The Survival Kit from FSG," published in the fall of 2011. She has written for newspapers, magazines, and webzines, including The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, The Boston Globe and The Washington Post.
