St. Norbert College Chamber Singers and Concert Choir perform at Carnegie Hall

Thirty-five members of the St. Norbert College Chamber Singers and Concert Choir, directed by Sarah Parks, assistant professor of music, and Michael Rosewall, associate professor of music, traveled to New York City March 16-20 to perform a concert at Carnegie Hall. The Chamber Singers and Concert Choir performed "Magnificat" with guest conductor John Rutter.

Rutter is a world-renowned conductor and composer. He has guest-conducted and lectured at a variety of venues and events around the world. He was named to the Queens New Year Honor List in 2007, and awarded the Commander of the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire for his services in music. In 2011, Westminster Abbey commissioned the anthem "This Is the Day," which was performed at the royal wedding of Catherine Middleton and HRH Prince William.
