August and Kabat recitals at St. Norbert College

The St. Norbert College music department will present the senior vocal recital of Tessa August on Saturday, April 14 at 3 p.m. and the merit trumpet recital of Jordan Kabat at 5 p.m. in the Walter Theater, Abbot Pennings Hall of Fine Arts. Admission is free and open to the public.

August, from Walworth, Wis., is a student of Michael Rosewall, associate professor of music. August will perform works by Puccini, Mozart, Brahms, Bohm, Andrew Lloyd Weber, and Hageman. She will perform these pieces with other music majors in duets, trios, and ensembles.

Kabat, from Manitowoc, Wis., is a student of Linda Cook, assistant professor of music. Kabat will perform works by Böhme, Glass, Hummel and Vivaldi. Cook will accompany him on trumpet and Elaine Moss, coordinator of keyboard studies, will accompany him on the harpsichord.
