St. Norbert to offer a "Culinary Journey" this fall

Starting this fall, St. Norbert College Language Services is offering a non-credit cultural cooking class series called "Culinary Journey." Theses hands-on classes will give participants a chance to prepare and taste authentic foods from around the world, while learning about different cultures along the way. Students can choose one or several classes in the series:
Vegetables Around the Globe, Saturday, Sept. 29, 9 a.m.-noon, YWCA kitchen; cost: $35; Instructor: Susan Beno
Mangia! Italian Cooking, Monday, Oct. 15, 5-7:30 p.m., YWCA kitchen; cost: $40; Instructor: Emily Salm
Holiday Traditions Around the World, Saturday, Nov. 3, 9 a.m.-noon, YWCA kitchen; cost: $35; Instructor: Susan Beno
Soups Around the World, Wednesday, Feb. 6, 5-8 p.m., National Railroad Museum; cost: $35; Instructor: Susan Beno
Taking Tea with the Trains, Saturday, April 20, 10:30 a.m.- 1 p.m., National Railroad Museum; cost $40; Instructor: Susan Beno
Ole! Tapas, Tuesday, June 25, 5-8 pm, National Railroad Museum; cost: $45; Instructor: Susan Beno
Classes will be held in the kitchen of the Green Bay/DePere YWCA or at the National Railroad Museum in Ashwaubenon. Fees include all instruction and materials. Class size is limited to 15 students. Register for all six classes for only $225.
