St. Norbert College will kick off the new school year on Sunday, Aug. 26, with a number of activities that will offer the whole college community an opportunity to come together to celebrate the start of a new school year. Faculty, students and staff, along with their families, can enjoy the following on Aug. 26:

4:30 p.m. Mass of the Holy Spirit. (Old St. Joseph Church)

5:45 p.m. Faculty/staff robing; first-year students line-up for convocation procession. (Bush Art Center)
6 p.m. College-wide convocation with President Thomas Kunkel's opening remarks. (Lawn in front of Main Hall. Rain site is Walter Theatre)

6:30 p.m. Picnic; concert provided by RPM from the Fox Valley. (Outside Campus Center. Rain site is inside Michels Commons)

8:30 p.m. Fireworks (Weather permitting)
Editor's Note: Sunday, Aug. 26, activities will not be open to the public. The media is welcome. For photographs, video and interviews, the convocation procession at 5:45 p.m. would offer the best opportunity.
