St. Norbert College professor named associate editor of professional science journal

St. Norbert College professor and scientist Anindo Choudhury has recently been named associate editor for the parasitic flatworms section of the Journal of Parasitology, the official journal of the American Society of Parasitologists.
Earlier this year Choudhury became associate editor for the parasitic nematode section of Zootaxa, the largest international journal devoted to taxonomy and systematics of animals.
In addition, Choudhury continues to serve on the editorial board of Folia Parasitologica, the parasitology journal of the Czech Academy of Sciences, an appointment he's held for the past four years, and is on the editorial board of Acta Parasitologica, the parasitology journal of the Polish Academy of Sciences.
Choudhury's research on host-parasite relationships, which spans North and Central America, has resulted in 42 peer-reviewed journal articles, 7 book chapters, 5 technical reports and manuals, and 41 conference presentations (oral or poster). Six students have been authors on 5 peer-reviewed publications and 7 students have been authors on 7 professional conference presentations.
Choudhury joined the natural sciences faculty at St. Norbert College in 2001.
