St. Norbert College to Present Winter BandFest Concert

The St. Norbert College music department will present their Winter BandFest Concert on Sunday, Feb. 17, at 2 p.m. in the Walter Theatre, Abbot Pennings Hall of Fine Arts.

The concert will feature the St. Norbert College Wind Ensemble and the Winter BandFest High School Honor Band. The Honor Band is comprised of over 70 high school musicians from northeast Wisconsin and the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. Both ensembles will be directed by Michael Knight, assistant professor of music.

The program includes works by Marquez, Gillingham, Grainger and Nelson.

General admission tickets are $6 and can be purchased online at http://tickets.snc.edu or by calling the St. Norbert College box office at 920-403-3950. All tickets for events held in Abbot Pennings Hall of Fine Arts and Dudley Birder Hall are subject to a $1 per ticket facility fee used to improve and enhance the continued use of these facilities.
