The Rev. Andrew Ciferni, O.Praem., will assume leadership of the Center for Norbertine Studies at St. Norbert College beginning in August 2013. Fr. Ciferni will be replacing Bill Hyland, assistant professor of classical studies and director of the Center for Norbertine Studies, who will be relocating to Scotland with his family.

Fr. Ciferni is a member of the Norbertine abbey in Daylesford, Pa. He is a St. Norbert College alum who taught in the Master of Theological Studies program and served on the board of trustees at the college. He was instrumental in the creation of the Center for Norbertine Studies and served on its advisory council. Fr. Ciferni also held the college's Heidgen Chair in Catholic Studies. He currently serves on two international commissions for the Norbertine order.

St. Norbert College will have a formal welcome reception when Fr. Ciferni arrives on campus in late summer.
