St. Norbert College Students and Staff Win Fox Valley ADDY Awards

St. Norbert College students and staff received awards at the Fox River Advertising Federation's annual ADDY celebration on Thursday, February 28. The awards recognize excellence in design and advertising.

Art student Victoria Bates (Neenah, Wis.) won a gold ADDY in the illustration category for her piece "The Monocles." Kate Killian (Wisconsin Rapids, Wis.) won a gold ADDY in the illustration category for her piece "Sticky Fingered Fellows." Spencer Young (Shiocton, Wis.) won a silver ADDY in the illustration/campaign category for his St. Norbert College art brochure illustrations. Stephanie Buckwheat (Pulaski, Wis.) won a silver ADDY in the logo category for a proposed logo titled "The Wisconsin Conservation Fund." Megan Schulz (Green Bay, Wis.) won a silver ADDY in the logo category for a personal logo titled "Rylus Productions." Megan Kelly Dunaway (Forest Park, Ill.) won a silver ADDY in the poster category for "Bleu Sparrow."

The St. Norbert College Admissions Office won a silver ADDY and gold ADDY for, respectively, "St. Norbert College Outcomes Brochure" and "St. Norbert College Viewbook"; the Office of Advancement won a gold ADDY for "Campaign St. Norbert: Full Ahead"; and the Office of Communications won a silver ADDY for "St. Norbert College Magazine Cover Series."

The American Advertising Federation holds the ADDY Awards every year. It is one of the world's largest advertising competitions. Participants enter their work on the local level and winners have the chance to move on to the national competition.
