St. Norbert College to Present Junior Recital

The St. Norbert College music department presents Taylor Jadin on saxophone and Samantha Finnigan on flute performing a student recital on Friday, April 5, at 3 p.m. The concert will take place in Dudley Birder Hall, 400 Grant. St., De Pere and is free and open to the public.

Jadin, from Algoma, Wis., will be performing "Suite for Alto Saxophone and Piano," by Paul Donneau, "Pieces Caracteristiques en Forme de Suite," by Pierre Max Dubois, "Sarabande and Gigue for Saxophone and Piano" by Fisher Tull and "Yardbird Suite" by Charlie Parker. Jadin will be accompanied by Mary Slavek and John Salerno on piano, Corey Van Eperen on drums and Brian Anderson on bass.

Finnigan, from Green Bay, Wis., will be performing "Suite Modale for Flute and Piano" by Ernest Bloch, "Flute Sonata in D" by Sergei Prokofiev, "Sonata No. 1 in E Minor" by George Frederic Handel and "Kokopelli" by Katherine Hoover. Finnigan will be accompanied on piano be Mary Slavek.
