St. Norbert College student Katie Killian won a gold ADDY and Student-Judge's Choice Award at the district level of the American Advertising Federation's annual ADDY competition. The awards recognize excellence in design and advertising.

Killian is from Wisconsin Rapids, Wis. and is a senior at St. Norbert College. She competed in the district eight ADDY competition which includes entries from Wisconsin, Minnesota, North Dakota and South Dakota. Killian's winning piece, "Sticky Fingered Fellows," will automatically be forwarded to the national competition. Winners of the national competition will be announced later this spring.

The American Advertising Federation holds the ADDY Awards every year. It is one of the world's largest advertising competitions. Participants enter their work on the local level and winners have the chance to move on to the national competition.
