“The Hollands!” to Perform at St. Norbert College's Knights on the Fox

"The Hollands!" will perform at the "Knights on the Fox" summer concert series on Tuesday, July 23. Julie Van Straten, vice president and general counsel at United Healthcare, will serve as the evening's emcee. The concert will take place at the campus marina and is free and open to the public.

"The Hollands!" are a folk revivalist band who tour internationally as a family. The "21st century nomadic travelers" aim to deeply involve the audience in their performances and create community through song. The band incorporates guitar, banjo, mandolin, percussion and vocals to create their unique sound.

"Knights on the Fox" features live music in a casual atmosphere along the banks of the Fox River. Concert-goers can carry in their own picnic or purchase sandwiches, snacks and beverages at Phil's, St. Norbert's on-campus restaurant located in the Campus Center. Picnicking begins at 5 p.m., followed by the concerts from 6:30-8 p.m. Concerts will be canceled in the event of rain. Check the St. Norbert College website or call for updates on the status of the performance.

The docks of the Thompson marina will be open for those who wish to come by boat. Parking is available in the lots off of Third Street and College Avenue, with handicapped parking in the lot near Old St. Joseph Church. Lawn chairs and blankets are suggested. Follow the signs to find your way to the parking lots.
