The Green Bay area is part of an international network of community-organized, participant-led conferences that create diverse and open environments for sharing knowledge.
On Saturday, Nov. 16, from 8 a.m. to 11 p.m., St. Norbert College will co-sponsor and host Barcamp 2013 in the F.K. Bemis International Center on campus.
The event is free and open to anyone interested in learning and sharing ideas. The topics tend to be somewhat tech-focused, but everyone is welcome and encouraged to attend and present on whatever they find fascinating.
Past topics at Barcamps in the area included: 3-D printing, hacker/makerspaces, robots, beekeeping, photography and web development.
For more information, or to register, go to http://www.barcampgb.org/. If you register before Sunday, Oct. 27, you'll receive a free T-shirt. Questions can be directed to email@example.com.
