St. Norbert College and Fox Valley Institutions to Present Brass Concert

The St. Norbert College music department, in conjunction with four other northeast Wisconsin colleges and universities, will present a brass concert on Thursday, Nov. 14, at 7:30 p.m. The concert will take place at the St. Norbert Abbey, 1016 N. Broadway, De Pere, and is free and open to the public.

The concert will feature pieces by Giovanni Gabrieli that were originally composed for St. Mark's Cathedral in Venice.

St. Norbert College assistant professor of music Eric High and assistant professor of music Linda Cook will perform, along with faculty from the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay, Lawrence University, the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh and Ripon College. Also performing will be friends of St. Norbert College Michael Henckel, Andrew Zipperer and Andrew Parks. The concert will be conducted by St. Norbert College assistant professor of music Michael Knight.
