St. Norbert College to Present Student Recitals

The St. Norbert College music department will present the piano and clarinet recitals of seniors Tanner Lundquist and Sam Mead on Friday, Nov. 15, at 3:30 p.m., and the vocal recitals of juniors Genevieve Gannon and Natasha Behnke at 5:30 p.m. in Dudley Birder Hall, 400 Grant St., De Pere. An organ recital by senior Devin Atteln will take place on Saturday, Nov. 16, at 2 p.m. at the St. Norbert Abbey, 1016 N. Broadway, De Pere. All recitals are free and open to the public.

Lundquist, of Sister Bay, Wis., and Mead, of Gillet, Wis., will perform selections by Couperin, Haydn, Chopin, MacDowell, Debussy, Saint-Saens and Bernstein. Mead will be accompanied by Mary Slavek on piano.

Gannon, of Plymouth, Wis., and Behnke, of Kiel, Wis., will perform selections by Strauss, Schubert, Vivaldi, Obradors, Hogan, Bellini, Schumann, Debussy and others. They will be accompanied by Dave Pufall and sophomore Patrick Marchant.

Atteln, of Tomah, Wis., will perform selections by Langlais, Sweelinck, Alain, Bach, Franck and Widor. He will also perform a duet of Gustav Holst's "Neptune, the Mystic" with Fr. Michael Frisch, O.Praem.
