St. Norbert College will host an exhibit of work by senior Michael Danforth from Monday, Nov. 11, through Friday, Dec. 6, in the Godschalx gallery of the college's Bush Art Center.
The exhibit will consist of photography and sculpture works. Some of the works were completed while experimenting with new techniques in lighting and composition, while others were created in an attempt to gain a better understanding of materials such as wood and wire.

The exhibit is part of the college's senior capstone project, which requires all art majors to investigate professional practices, write an artist's statement, document individual artworks and install an exhibition.
Danforth's pieces "Looking In" and "Train Ride Reflections" were chosen from this collection to be displayed in the Juried Art Show in the Baer Gallery of the Bush Art Center at the same time.

The galleries are free and open to the public Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., and Saturday, 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.

For more information, contact St. Norbert's art curator, Shan Bryan-Hanson, at 920-403-3072 or shan.bryan-hanson@snc.edu.
