St. Norbert College will host an exhibit of art curated by senior Jesse Borlen from Tuesday, Dec. 3, through Friday, March 14, in the permanent gallery of the college's Bush Art Center.
"The Passage of Art" consists of three paintings chosen from the St. Norbert College permanent collections, with research statements accompanying each piece. The theme of the exhibit is the passage of time and ideas in the context of art. Three distinct artistic styles will be illustrated in the chosen works: Rococo, Romanticism and California Plein-Air.

Borlen, of Clintonville, Wis., created the exhibition as the capstone for his individualized major, art history.

The gallery is free and open to the public Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

For more information, contact St. Norbert's art curator, Shan Bryan-Hanson, at 920-403-3072 or shan.bryan-hanson@snc.edu.
