Continuing one of Green Bay's most beloved holiday traditions, conductor Dudley Birder will lead the Green Bay Symphony Orchestra, the Dudley Birder Chorale and the Birder Studio of Performing Arts in their 15th performance of "Holiday Pops." The concert will take place on Friday, Dec. 13, and Saturday, Dec. 14, at 7:30 p.m. at the Weidner Center on the UW-Green Bay campus.

The concert features the 150 singers of the Dudley Birder Chorale, 90 children from the Birder Studio of Performing Arts and the 66 musicians of the Green Bay Symphony Orchestra.

The concert will feature both traditional and familiar choral and orchestral selections, including "O Come All Ye Faithful," "White Christmas" and "The Christmas Song."

Wisconsin Public Television will be recording the concert and replaying portions of it during a one-hour special that will air on Thursday, Dec. 19, at 7 p.m., Tuesday, Dec. 24, at 11 p.m. and Wednesday, Dec. 25, at 3 p.m. on Wisconsin Public Television. The special will also include interviews with Dudley Birder and his daughter Alicia Birder, director of Birder Studio of Performing Arts. Later this winter, Dudley Birder will also be one of the subjects in another WPT special highlighting influential figures in Wisconsin's music scene.
