River City Six to kick-off St. Norbert College's "Knights on the Fox"

DE PERE: The Dixieland Jazz group River City Six, featuring arrangements by renowned local jazz master Lovell Ives, kicks-off "Knights on the Fox," Tuesday, July 13. Cami Rapson of WBAY-TV is the emcee. Come by land or by water to "Knights on the Fox," a five-week summer concert series on the banks of the Fox River at St. Norbert College's Ed and Sally Thompson Marina, located behind the Ray Van Den Heuvel Family Campus Center. The series, which is free and open to the public, features a picnic atmosphere and local jazz and family oriented musicians performing in the gazebo. Knights on the Fox is held on Tuesdays, beginning July 13 and ending with the last show, Tuesday, Aug. 10. Rain site is inside the Campus Center. Picnics start at 5:30 p.m. and concerts are held from 6:30-7:30 p.m. Seating for senior citizens is arranged near the gazebo stage. Parking is available off Third Street or in the parking lot across from Old St. Joseph Church. At 5:30 p.m., hot dogs, popcorn, soda and ice cream can be purchased or families can bring their own food. There will be volleyballs available to play at the sand courts located near the gazebo.
