The St. Norbert College art department will host an exhibit of student work from Thursday, Feb. 20, to Friday, March 14, in the Godschalx Gallery of the college's Bush Art Center.
"Manifest Plainness, Embrace Simplicity: Selections From Introductory Sculpture" features student pieces created during Introductory Sculpture class. The class is a basic investigation of three-dimensional form and materials, involving the conceptual and structural nature of sculpture and the application of sculptural materials.
The featured works include sculptures of wood, metal and found objects.
The exhibit is free and the gallery is open to the public Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
For more information, contact St. Norbert's art curator, Shan Bryan-Hanson, at 920-403-3072, or shan.bryan-hanson@snc.edu.
