Language Services at St. Norbert College to Offer March Workshops and Cooking Classes

St. Norbert College Language Services will hold the following events this March for the general public:
Football Traditions Workshop: Saturday, March 8, 9 a.m. to noon at St. Norbert College. Participants will learn why the game of football is such an important part of Wisconsin culture. The workshop will be presented by Kristen Broderick, Green Bay Packers Hall of Fame assistant/educational coordinator; cost is $25 per person. Register by Feb. 28.
Irish Culture Workshop: Monday, March 10, 5-8 p.m. at St. Norbert College. Participants will learn about Ireland's history, culture and what the country is like today as it recovers from recession. Participants will also learn how sport, music and language are intertwined with the everyday lives of the Irish people. Cost is $30 per person and $20 for members of the St. Norbert College community. Register by March 3.
Italian Meats and Fish Cooking Class: Tuesday, March 25, 5:30-8 p.m. at the Brown County Culinary Kitchen, 2900 Curry Lane, Green Bay. In this class, Italy native Paola Vianello will demonstrate how meat and fish are prepared in various parts of Italy. The cost of the class is $40 per person. Register by March 18.
