St. Norbert College to Present Junior Recitals

The St. Norbert College music department will present the tuba and vocal recital of juniors Kasara Sinkula and Rachel Ziolkowski at 3:30 p.m., and the saxophone and clarinet recital of juniors Ryan Kozak and Jenna Wirth at 5:30 p.m, on Friday, April 25. The recitals will take place at Dudley Birder Hall, 400 Grant St., De Pere, and are free and open to the public.

Sinkula, of Kewaunee, Wis., will perform tuba selections from Edward Gregson, William Penn and Malcolm Arnold. She will be accompanied on piano by part-time instructor of music and accompanist Elaine Moss.

Ziolkowski, of Manitowoc, Wis., will perform vocal selections from J.S. Bach, Franz Schubert, Gabriel Faure, Hector Berlioz, W.A. Mozart, Camille Saint-Saens, Paul Bowles, John Alden Carpenter and Jason Robert Brown. She will be accompanied by part-time instructor of music and accompanist Elaine Moss.

Sinkula and Ziolkowski will also give a duet performance of "Agnus Dei" by Georges Bizet.

Kozak, of Greenville, Wis., will perform saxophone selections by Jacques Ibert, Anton Bilotti and Jean Francaix. He will also perform a piece by Charles Mingus with an ensemble of fellow students. He will be accompanied on piano by Mary Slavek.

Wirth, of Kaukauna, Wis., will perform clarinet selections by Robert Schumann and Gerald Finzi. She will be accompanied on piano by Mary Slavek.
