John Raymond, president and CEO of the Medical College of Wisconsin (MWC), will present "Growing the Health Care Workforce Through Partnership and Innovation" as part of St. Norbert College's CEO Breakfast and Strategy Series on Tuesday, April 29, from 7:30 to 8:30 a.m. at F.K. Bemis International Center, on the St. Norbert College campus. The session sponsor is PAi; Raymond is the last speaker in the 2013-14 series.

Dr. Raymond leads Wisconsin's only private medical school, with an operating budget over $900 million. Approximately one out of every three Wisconsin physicians is an alumnus of MCW. With approximately 5,500 faculty and staff members, MCW is the ninth-largest private employer in Metro Milwaukee.

MCW is ranked in the top third of all medical schools nationwide for National Institutes of Health research funding and conducts approximately $170 million annually in funded research. The Medical College employs Wisconsin's largest physician practice group with more than 1,350 doctors. MCW physicians care for approximately 425,000 patients annually at its three primary teaching hospital affiliates, Froedtert Hospital, Children's Hospital of Wisconsin and the Zablocki VA Medical Center.
Under Dr. Raymond's leadership, MCW is addressing Wisconsin's pending physician shortage through the development of statewide community-based medical education campuses. The first two campuses are under development in Central Wisconsin and at St. Norbert College.

The CEO Breakfast and Strategy Series is an outreach to the business community by the Office of the President at St. Norbert College, featuring presentations by distinguished local, regional and national business leaders. The registration fee for this session is $60. For more information, or to register, contact St. Norbert College at http://tickets.snc.edu/tickets, email jamie.mcguire@snc.edu or visit www.snc.edu/ceobreakfast.

The presenting sponsor for the CEO Series is WPS Health Insurance/Arise Health Plan, and the title sponsors are Grant Thornton LLP, Johnson Bank, Johnson Insurance, Insight Publications and The Boldt Company.
