St. Norbert College to Present Senior Recitals

The St. Norbert College music department will present the trumpet recital of senior Jennah Smet at 2 p.m., and the vocal recital of senior Nicole Schommer at 4 p.m, on Sunday, April 27. The recitals will take place at Dudley Birder Hall, 400 Grant St., De Pere, and are free and open to the public.

Smet, of Green Bay, Wis., will perform tuba selections from Alexander Arutiunian, Eric Ewazen, Giovanni Buonaventura Viviani and Sharon Davis. She will be accompanied on piano by part-time instructor of music and accompanist Elaine Moss and on organ by Patrick Marchant.

Smet will also perform a duet with assistant professor of political science Wendy Scattergood.

Schommer, of Freedom, Wis., will perform selections from Manuel de Falla, Pauline Viardot-Garcia, Joaquin Rodrigo, Robert Burgel, Heitor Villa-Lobos and Waldemar Henrique. She will be accompanied on piano by part-time instructor of music and accompanist Elaine Moss.
