Auditions for St. Norbert College Music Theatre's July production of "Guys and Dolls" will be held May 20-21 at 7 p.m. in the lower level of Abbot Pennings Hall of Fine Arts on the St. Norbert College campus. Call backs will be held May 22 at Dudley Birder Hall, 400 Grant St., De Pere.

"Guys and Dolls," which opened in 1950, was one of the most successful shows of the decade and has been called "the perfect musical comedy." Set in vivid mid-20th century New York City, "Guys and Dolls" tells the story about gambling men and the strong-willed women who love them.

Persons auditioning should prepare a song of their choosing; an accompanist will be provided. Several individuals are also needed to work on costumes, makeup, lighting, sets and running crew. Those interested are asked to come to auditions and sign up.

Nine performances are scheduled July 23--August 1.

For more information, contact Dudley Birder at 920-403-3116 or dudley.birder@snc.edu.
