Language Services at St. Norbert College to Offer June Workshops and Cooking Classes

St. Norbert College Language Services will hold the following events this June for the general public:

Cheese-Making Traditions: Monday, June 9, 5:30-7:30 p.m. at St. Norbert College. Participants will learn about the history of Wisconsin's cheese-making traditions, get tips for entertaining with cheese and learn about cheese pairings. Cindy Schmitt, deli supervisor at Festival Foods, and Peter Leuer, Midwest regional marketing manager at the Milk Marketing Board, will lead the workshop. The cost for the workshop is $25 per person. Register by June 2.

Jams and Jellies: Tuesday, June 17, 5:30-8:30 p.m. at the Brown County Culinary Kitchen, 2900 Curry Lane, Green Bay. Participants will learn how to can and how to use the freshest ingredients of the season. Family living educator for the UW-Extension office Judy Knudsen will lead the class. All experience levels are welcome. The cost of the class is $40 per person. Register by June 10.
