De Pere: The St. Norbert College Students in Free Enterprise (SIFE) business organization announce Krista Petasek and Patrick Stanly of Preble High School, and Brennan Boettcher of Bay Port High School as winners of the high school ethics essay competition. Students chose a Wall Street Journal article and explained whether the action or idea detailed in the article was ethical. The contest was open to high school seniors planning to attend a two or four-year college, and Wells Fargo Bank donated a $100 scholarship for each winner. Articles were judged by SIFE business advisory board members Jeff Ottum, Vice President of Human Resources at Schreiber Foods, Inc., Barry Swanquist, Vice President of Marketing at KI, and David Jerrett, Vice President of Sales and Marketing at Bay Towel.
