by Erich Wegenke, erich.wegenke@snc.edu, 920-403-3089

Evan Siegle, a photojournalist with Press-Gazette Media, will visit the St. Norbert College campus to deliver a presentation entitled "Behind the Photographs." The presentation will take place from 1:15 -- 2 p.m. in the Bush Art Center on the St. Norbert campus. It's part of the college's sixth annual SNC Day festivities, and is free and open to the public.
Siegle, who was named 2013 Photographer of the Year by the Wisconsin News Photographers Association, will share the behind-the-scenes stories of his favorite photographs, and the thought processes that go into creating them. Among the work featured will be Siegle's photographs of Green Bay Packers games and his award-winning high school player of the year portraits.

Siegle previously worked for the Beloit Daily News, and has been a staff photographer for Press-Gazette Media since 2002. In that capacity, he has shot photos for every section of the Green Bay Press-Gazette and its website. He has covered events such as the 2006 Winter Olympics in Torino, Italy, Super Bowl XLV, the Women's U.S. Open, and multiple presidential elections. St. Norbert College's sixth annual SNC Day is a campus "open house" held from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Sept. 13, open to the entire community. The festivities will include food, live music, arts and crafts, Segway tours of campus, boat rides on the Fox River and more.
