St. Norbert College is hosting a variety of events for Heritage Days, a celebration
commemorating the 116th anniversary of the college's founding on Oct. 10, 1898. For this
year's Heritage Days, two Norbertine priests from the abbey in Roggenburg, Germany, will
be visiting the college campus.
The Rev. Ulrich Christian Keller, O.Praem., will give a lecture entitled "I Believe in Miracles!
The Revivification of the Norbertine Monastery of Roggenburg" on Monday, Oct. 6, at 7 p.m.
in the Webb Theatre, in the Abbot Pennings Hall of Fine Arts on the St. Norbert College
campus.
The Rev. Stefan Kling, O.Praem., will perform an organ concert entitled "'Pro Organo et
Cembalo'--Five Centuries of Norbertine Organ Music" on Wednesday, Oct. 8, at 7 p.m. at St.
Norbert Abbey in De Pere. It is presented in collaboration with St. Norbert Abbey's "Canon
John Bruce Memorial Organ Concert Series." Both events are free and open to the public.
In addition to these events, the college will hold its Founder's Day prayer breakfast and
presentation of Founder's Awards on Wednesday, Oct. 8.
Heritage Days events are co-sponsored by the Center for Norbertine Studies, Killeen Chair,
Mission & Ministry, St. Norbert College Music Department and St. Norbert Abbey.
