St. Norbert Abbey to Present Organ and Brass Spectacular

St. Norbert Abbey Church will host an evening of brass, organ and choral music on Saturday, Dec. 6, at 7 p.m. The Organ and Brass Spectacular, which will include a wide variety of Christmas music performed by several different ensembles, is free and open to the public. However, as a benefit for the "Nubbie" Ecker Chamber Music Endowment, free will donations will be gratefully accepted.

The concert will feature the Abbey singers of St. Norbert College, directed by Fr. Michael Frisch; the St. Norbert College Flute Choir, directed by Kortney James, adjunct assistant professor of music; and the St. Norbert College Bell Choir, directed by Linda Cook, assistant professor of music. Also performing will be a brass quintet consisting of Marty Robinson and Linda Cook on trumpet, Andrew Parks on French horn, Andrew Zipperer on trombone and Eric High on bass trombone, accompanied by Fr. Michael Frisch on the organ.
