St. Norbert College Students to Visit Milwaukee for TRIPS Service Program

Twelve St. Norbert College students will visit Milwaukee from Sunday, Dec. 14 to Friday, Dec. 19, to learn about urban education as part of the TRIPS alternative break service program. While there, they will work side by side with St. Norbert College alumni teachers in classroom teaching experiences, while learning about the school choice system in Milwaukee.

TRIPS (an acronym for Turning Responsibility Into Powerful Service) is an alternative break program organized by the Sturzl Center for Community Service and Learning at St. Norbert College. It is designed to give students the opportunity to put their beliefs into action through service and solidarity with various communities. TRIPS challenges students to participate in a week or more of service in areas throughout the United States and the world.
