St. Norbert College Students to Visit Memphis for TRIPS Service Program

Twelve St. Norbert College students will visit Memphis from Saturday, Dec. 13 to Saturday, Dec. 20, as part of the TRIPS alternative break service program. During their visit, the students will volunteer at a children's hospital, host holiday events and spend time with the children and their families. While in Memphis, the St. Norbert students will also tour St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital.

TRIPS (an acronym for Turning Responsibility Into Powerful Service) is an alternative break program organized by the Sturzl Center for Community Service and Learning at St. Norbert College. It is designed to give students the opportunity to put their beliefs into action through service and solidarity with various communities. TRIPS challenges students to participate in a week or more of service in areas throughout the United States and the world.
