Martin Luther King Jr. Day of Service for St. Norbert College

Students, faculty and staff of St. Norbert College will celebrate and serve on "Make It a Day On, Not a Day Off," the college's Martin Luther King Jr. day of service on Monday, Jan. 19.
The event involves a day of service to the local community, during which members of the St. Norbert community will teach elementary students about King's message of respect for others and assist area social service agencies.

From 10 a.m. to noon, community members will be at sites including the St. Vincent de Paul store, Paul's Pantry, Howe Community Resource Center, Junior Achievement of Wisconsin in Brown County, and CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates) of Brown County; they will conduct educational sessions in elementary schools including Westwood, Notre Dame and Hemlock Creek in De Pere.
