The St. Norbert College music department will present its honors recital on Tuesday, May 5. The recital will take place at 7:30 p.m. at Dudley Birder Hall on the college campus, located at 400 Grant Street in De Pere. It is free and open to the public.

The recital will showcase the talents of the following nine St. Norbert College music students: Jennah Smet (Suamico) on trumpet; Emily McIntee (Marshfield), a vocal soprano; Jessica Kust (Klondike) on piano; Benjamin Olejniczak (Green Bay) on baritone; Charles DeVillers (New Franken) on tuba; Genevieve Gannon (Plymouth), a coloratura soprano; Connor Klavekoske (Beaver Dam) on piano; Emma Philipps (Kewaunee) on alto saxophone; and Tanner Lundquist (Sister Bay) on piano.

These musicians will reprise a variety of songs they have performed at individual recitals over the past year, including music by Franz Schubert, Astor Piazzolla and Paul Bonneau. The program will conclude with Lundquist's arrangement of George Gershwin's "Rhapsody in Blue," featuring additional instrumental accompaniment and directed by Kent Paulsen, adjunct instructor of music.
