Language Services at St. Norbert College to Offer September Cooking Classes

St. Norbert College Language Services will hold the following events in September for the general public:

Jammin' in the Kitchen canning/cooking class: Tuesday, Sept. 15, 5-7:30 p.m. on the St. Norbert College campus. Now that you have a plethora of vegetables and fruits from your garden, learn the basics of making jam and salsa. The cost is $40 per person.

Veggies Around the World cooking class: Monday, Sept. 21, 5:30-7:30 p.m. at the YWCA kitchen in Green Bay. Popular culinary instructor and former restaurateur Susan Beno will share ways to cook healthy, delicious veggies that go way beyond the usual can of green beans. The cost is $40 per person.

Oktoberfest cooking class: Wednesday, Sept. 30, 5-7:30 p.m. on the St. Norbert College campus. Learn how to create classic German recipes at home with St. Norbert chefs Dan Staats and Dan Froelich. The cost is $40 per person.

Adult Non-Credit Language Classes: Weeks of Sept. 21 through Nov. 14. Classes run for eight weeks, various days and times, for two hours and are held on the St. Norbert College campus. Portuguese, Russian, French, Italian, Polish, German or Spanish. The cost is $160 and includes instruction and materials.
