St. Norbert College is opening its doors to the community on Saturday, Sept. 19, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., for the college's seventh annual SNC Day.

SNC Day provides an opportunity for area residents to visit campus and learn more about what the college has to offer. The event will feature Segway tours, boat rides and lots of different food options, including several favorite local food trucks. The college will be celebrating Worldwide Play Day with loads of new children's activities. Special exhibits this year include local, state-of-the-art company Avatarium 3-D, which will introduce folks to 3-D modeling and printing. The Bush Art Center will feature the exhibit "Plantbot Genetics: Mothology;" and the Cassandra Voss Center is hosting the Double Dutch to Dreams team from Milwaukee, a DJ and musicologist Kyra Gaunt. The Mulva Library will have storytellers on hand and opportunities to play in its "Sandbox." The new Gehl-Mulva Science Center will host the Children's Museum of Green Bay, as well as many hands-on activities and programming. The Green Bay Film Festival will feature a "sneak peek" on a specially chosen film in anticipation of the Film Festival, which is moving to the St. Norbert College campus next spring. The Don Schneider Memorial Challenge 5K Run will begin at 9:30 a.m. and, this year, families will be invited to participate. There will be a special "Fun Run" with appropriate obstacles for kids ages 6-10.
