St. Norbert Community Band to Present Fall Concert

The St. Norbert Community Band will present "Mediterranean Celebrations" for their fall concert. The concert will take place on Monday, Nov. 2, at 7:30 p.m. at the Walter Theatre of the Abbot Pennings Hall of Fine Arts on the St. Norbert College campus. It will feature works by Turina, Bizet, Rossini and Cesarini.

General admission to the concert is $6; tickets are available at the St. Norbert College Box Office or online http://tickets.snc.edu. Tickets for events held in the Abbot Pennings Hall of Fine Arts are subject to a $1-per-ticket facility fee, which is used to improve and enhance the continued use of the facility.

The St. Norbert Community Band is composed of alumni, faculty and friends of St. Norbert College, and it was formed to provide an opportunity for outstanding musicians from northeast Wisconsin to experience the leading available band literature. Membership in the band is by invitation of the conductor, assistant professor of music Michael Knight. The St. Norbert Community Band presents two major concerts each year.
