The 150-voice Dudley Birder Chorale, the 100 members of the Birder Studio of Performing Arts, and the 50-piece Holiday Pops Orchestra will join forces to present their traditional Christmas Holiday Pops concert.

The concert will take place on Friday, Dec. 11, at 7:30 p.m. and Saturday, Dec. 12, at 2:30 p.m. at the Weidner Center for the Performing Arts in Green Bay. The ensembles, directed by Dudley Birder, will present a variety of carols and seasonal pops favorites. It's a perfect way to begin the Christmas season … with maybe a visit from Santa, too.

Tickets are available from Ticket Star online at http://ticketstaronline.com or by calling 800-895-0071 or 920-494-3401. All seats are reserved.

The Holiday Pops Concert is sponsored by Wisconsin Public Service and TransCanada.
More on the Holiday Pops Concert:

The 2015 program will begin with the surround-sound "O Come All Ye Faithful," followed by Dudley Birder's arrangement of "Glory Hosanna" featuring the orchestra, Birder Studio Children's Choir and the chorale. Also, several carols arranged by John Rutter, Mack Wilberg and Gustav Holst will be performed by the orchestra and chorale during the course of the evening.

Orchestral numbers will include Menotti's "March" from "Amahl and the Night Visitors," "March of the Toys" from Victor Herbert's "Babes In Toyland" and Leroy Anderson's "Sleigh Ride," as well as "Seasonal Sounds" by Randol Bass.
