St. Norbert College Receives Teaching Grant

Mark Bockenhauer, professor of geography, and Parisa Watson, adjunct instructor of geography, have been funded by the Library of Congress Teaching with Primary Sources Program for their proposal entitled, " The Library of Congress for Badgers; Maps and Images as Primary Documents for Wisconsin Educators."

It is a $19,990 grant, and with it Bockenhauer and Watson will conduct a summer 2016 institute for Wisconsin teachers utilizing Library of Congress digital materials as well as resources from UW-Milwaukee's American Geographical Society Library (a world-class collection of maps and other primary documents).
