Victor Ochen, a man who has been influential in sustainable peace around the world, will be the guest on the January "Conversations From St. Norbert College" television show hosted by Kevin Quinn, founding dean of the Donald J. Schneider School of Business & Economics at St. Norbert.
Ochen founded the African Youth Initiative Network in 2005 to work in two critical areas: medical rehabilitation for victims of conflict, and the building and promoting of youth leadership. The organization has grown into a national and international network of medical professionals who help victims rebuild their homes and livelihoods. The youth-led network conducts outreach programs to promote dialogue between youth in different communities in northern Uganda, and has begun a one-week Peace Camp to teach skills in conflict resolution, peace-building and leadership. Both Ochen and the network were nominated for the 2015 Nobel Peace Prize.

New "Conversations" shows appear the first Friday of each month. The series airs on TWCT (Time Warner Cable Television) Channel 4 in Green Bay, Howard/Suamico and Seymour; Channel 4 in the Fox Cities; Channel 2 in Neenah/Menasha; and on NET cable Channel 46 in Pulaski.
The show also airs on St. Norbert College Channel 5 in De Pere, Ashwaubenon and Bellevue on Sundays at 9:30 a.m., Tuesdays and Thursdays at 6:30 p.m.
