Guest Vocalist Bruce Rameker to Give Recital at St. Norbert College

Renowned baritone and countertenor vocalist Bruce Rameker will visit the St. Norbert College campus on Sunday, Feb. 14, to give a performance titled "An American Song Recital." Rameker's recital, featuring classic American songs by George and Ira Gershwin, Cole Porter, Jerome Kern and many others, will take place at 4 p.m. at Dudley Birder Hall on the St. Norbert College campus. It is free and open to the public.

Bruce Rameker was born in Green Bay and attended De Pere High School. He has obtained degrees from the Curtis Institute of Music and the San Francisco Conservatory of Music, and has built a successful career as a vocalist. Rameker has toured the world with operas and solo song recitals, giving performances in Poland, Italy, the Czech Republic, Germany, France and locations throughout the United States. He is currently based in New York City, where he has performed at Carnegie Hall and been a regular soloist with the Choir and Orchestra of St. Ignatius Loyola.
