The Cassandra Voss Center at St. Norbert College will present a "video fest" screening highlighting the work of "Saturday Night Live" cast member Sasheer Zamata on Monday, March 14, at 7 p.m. The event, which is free and open to the public, will showcase clips Zamata has written and starred in, ranging from "Saturday Night Live" to standup comedy. Following the clips, there will be an opportunity to hear from Zamata in a Skype talk-back session.
Sasheer Zamata is an actor, writer and standup comedian, and joined "Saturday Night Live" in 2014. She has created her own web series, and shares a college and an improv troupe with Tina Fey.
Founded in 2013, the Cassandra Voss Center at St. Norbert College presents a variety of programming focused on gender and identity. This event is a signature program of the Center's ongoing series "Delight in the Fight: disarming injustice with humor & joy." It is presented in association with Film Green Bay, the organization that runs the Green Bay Film Festival, as a part of the "Festival Around Town" series.
