The exhibition "Bring the War Home -- Restaged" is now on view in the Godschalx Gallery of the Bush Art Center on the St. Norbert College campus. The exhibition centers on a 1969 photo of an anti-Vietnam-War protest on the college campus, which was restaged by the college's art students on Nov. 18, 2015. There is also a print publication available in the gallery that accompanies the exhibition and discusses the project in depth. The exhibition is open from now until April 1; gallery hours are Monday--Friday from 9 a.m.--3 p.m. Attendance is free and open to the public.

The "Bring the War Home -- Restaged" exhibition was created as a collaborative class project. Brandon Bauer, assistant professor of art and art discipline coordinator, worked with St. Norbert College art students to research and restage an archival photograph in front of Main Hall on the college campus. The class that undertook the project, ART 380: Contemporary Photographic Strategies, was dedicated to exploring the idea of restaging historic photographs as a way to connect with and understand history.

For more information on the exhibition, contact Brandon Bauer by phone at 920-403-2901 or by email at brandon.bauer@snc.edu.
