The thirteenth annual Undergraduate Research Forum will be held Friday, April 22, from 1 to 4 p.m. in the Mulva Library on the St. Norbert College campus. A reception and recognition ceremony for all participants and guests begins at 4 p.m. in the Michels Commons Ballroom. Rashad Cobb, director of education and career initiatives at the Boys and Girls Club of Green Bay, will be the featured speaker. The event is free and open to the public.

"This forum puts a spotlight on the extraordinary work our faculty and staff do in working on research projects and creative works collaboratively with our students," said Jeffrey Frick, dean of the college and academic vice president. "These experiences are an important part of the transformative education we offer at St. Norbert College."

John Pennington, professor of English and director of the St. Norbert Collaborative: Center for Undergraduate Research, adds: "Undergraduate research is a hallmark of the quality education at St. Norbert College. The Undergraduate Research Forum is our public acknowledgment of this integral academic collaborative pursuit."

This year the Undergraduate Research Forum will feature 53 research projects that represent the natural sciences, the social sciences, the humanities, and the fine arts, as well as interdisciplinary work.

The event is hosted by the St. Norbert Collaborative, with support from the office of College Advancement.
