St. Norbert College is featured in the "Catholic Colleges of Distinction 2016" guidebook published by Colleges of Distinction, a national consortium devoted to recognizing colleges across the United States for excellence in undergraduate-focused higher education. St. Norbert College is one of three Catholic colleges from Wisconsin listed in the guidebook, along with Marquette University and Viterbo University.

Colleges of Distinction selected the 77 Catholic colleges featured in its guidebook through a rigorous research process, including in-person campus visits, interviews with a cross-section of the campus community, school records research, discussions with admission directors and more. Colleges featured in the guidebook exemplify the organization's "Four Distinctions": engaged students, great teaching, vibrant community and successful outcomes. Colleges of Distinction also highlights colleges' specific education practices, such as internships, global learning, capstone courses and more.

The "Catholic Colleges of Distinction 2016" guidebook is a unique resource designed for students, counselors and parents who want a personalized approach to the college application and selection process. Colleges of Distinction is providing complimentary copies of the book to more than 3,000 Catholic high school counselors.
