The St. Norbert College music department will hold its 34th annual Summer Band Camp on the college campus from June 13-17. The one-week commuter camp is open to music students who have completed grades five through nine. It will take place in a series of sessions from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Monday-Friday, concluding with a concert in the Walter Theatre of the Abbot Pennings Hall of Fine Arts on campus on Friday, June 17, at 7:30 p.m.

Directors for the band camp will include Michael Knight, Eric High, Linda Cook and other faculty members from the St. Norbert College music department. In addition to the main band, the camp will also include a jazz ensemble; students who play saxophone, trumpet, trombone, drum set, piano, electric bass or guitar are highly encouraged to sign up.

Tuition for the Summer Band Camp is $135 (for those bringing their own lunches) or $170 (including an all you can eat lunch). This year, the St. Norbert College music department is offering $10 off tuition for each previous year a student has attended the camp. For example, those who have attended camp the previous two summers can subtract $20 from their tuition.
